This study contains a concise survey of the history of Palestine ‎ and the developments of the Palestinian cause up to 1946, when ‎ the USA assumed a major role in steering events to serve the ‎ Zionist plan and to establish the State of Israel. The author relied ‎ upon written sources as well as knowledge derived from six years' ‎ residence in Palestine and from personal acquaintance with many ‎ of the leading figures in the events he describes.‎
